 I had been praying for a spiritual director when I rediscovered his book on Uniting With God's will. He is an amazing doctor of the Church with wonderful, relevant spiritual advice. His writings are chock full of Catholic wisdom. He made a vow never to waste time and his output was enormous.  Fascinating life of St. John Vianney 

 

 

 St. John Vianney started out with poor marks in school and it wasn't clear that he would make it to be a priest. But he did make to be a priest and is now the patron saint of priests. He did so well winning souls for God that devil attacked him for a long time. He helped many souls in his day and still does today. If you can get your hands on his writings you will probably learn much. Reading a good book about his life will also be very profitable.

 St. John Bosco is a great patron saint 

 

 

 St. John Bosco is a great patron saint, especially for boys. His mother is also saintly and may be canonized. I was happy suprised to find out recently that his body is incorrupt. A picture of his incorrpt body can be viewed online. Just do a search for "incorrupt St. John Bosco". He's a great saint and has been very helpful for many years.
