The term 'Lord's
Supper' should not be considered equivalent to the term 'Mass' or 'Holy
Sacrifice of the Mass' in modern times. There is an infinite difference between
the Mass and the so-called 'Lord's Supper' of the Protestants. In fact,
Protestant 'Reformers' used the term 'Lord's Supper' to distinguish their
services (where no consecration occurs) from the Catholic Mass (where
consecration truly does occur) since they - heretically - reject the Real
Presence of Christ in the Catholic Church's Holy Eucharist.
