Try lemon water for sugary beverage cravings. Don't overdo though in order to protect dental health. God bless.

Seniors' Tips

Fantastic gift for weddings

Great wedding gift idea: give the couple a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary & another of St. Joseph. Add a note for the couple to take Mary & St. Joseph as their guide in marriage and in life...and they will be happy now and forevermore, no matter what may come their way. They will remember this advice every time they look at the statues.

Pain / Suffering / Health

Suffering like a Catholic

As we age and suffer more diverse pains, it is good to keep in mind that what the elect suffers willingly here will be rewarded in heaven. Offer all those pains up! Offer them for your loved ones and others in need. They are like precious jewels. No matter what our condition, we have always something to offer if we offer up our sufferings. Virgin most sorrowful, pray for us.

A Pat on the Back

Don't be discouraged

Dear fellow Catholic, don't be discouraged, in the end God wins! In the meantime, pray and offer up your troubles to God. He loves you so much! Things of this earth are fleeting. Our true home is in Heaven. Maybe try some spiritual reading of beloved saints, perhaps St. Therese. And pray to the Blessed Virgin and your own beloved patron saint. I am sure they will help you so very much.

Offer up sufferings

We all need a reminder sometimes to offer up our sufferings. The challenges will pass, but our rewards will always remain.

Heavenly Thoughts

The flowers at your feet

Passing on some wisdom. . . "When men are too busy trying to reach every glorious star in the sky, they fail to see the gorgeous flowers that blossom at their feet." So true. Thank the good Lord for what we have.
