 Saved by the Grace of God 

 

 

 Was staying in my aunt's house was finishing a shower when my aunt called to say that my cousin was on the phone although I had just got out and ready to brush my teeth I went to answer the phone. Moments later the whole bathroom floor had collasped. I would have never gone to the phone but God's hand was there. I would have dropped all the way down would have been badly hurt or possibly dead.  Delay was a gift 

 

 

 A few days ago I was delayed from completing a task. During the time I waited, I discovered that if I had been able to go forward with my task, it would have been a mistake - it was wrong! I am most grateful for the delay. I do not think it was an accident.

 Grateful for being given right words 

 

 

 I am thankful to God for giving me "just the right words to say" sometimes when I speak with friends. On my own I am not so good with words. But sometimes when I am talking with friends something decent comes out that I'm sure was a gift of God. As one who suffers from "foot in mouth" disease it is a very comforting thought to know that God may come to my rescue with the right words. I just need to ask for His help more often.

 Helpful strangers at the right time 

 

 

 I think God places certain strangers in our life at certain times to guide us. It has happend to me more than once that the perfect person showed up at the perfect time. Doesn't God work through other people sometimes? Not everyone, of course, but sometimes certain people. At least I think this is the case.

 Pretty sure this was God watching out for me 

 

 

 The other day I was having a problem with the plumbing and it caused me to be late, but it was good becuase it made me be just late enough to hear an important call I would have missed if there was no plumbinb problem. I think this was not a coincidence, but rather was a gift from God, who is so loving and kind. Especially since it would have been really bad if I missed that call.

 The Right Book at the Right Time 

 

 

 One day I called for a free book offer, but just missed it. The person who answered the phone "talked me into" a related book that was not free. It was kind of unusual because I wasn't all that interested in the subject matter. But, I bought it anyways. After receiving it, I read the (Catholic) book quicker than usual. And, within a very short time, I encountered 3 different people who had been misled by the very same error that the book addressed and I was able to share the information with them.  It's for the Best 

 

 

 Ruined Computer is a Blessing 

 

 

 One day, my computer suddenly started smoking and a burning smell came from it. I didn't have the money to replace it and was in a big hurry to get back to work (I do religious related work on it). Unfortunately though, the computer was a total loss. Somehow, I eventually managed to get the funds to replace it and am now using a faster computer which enables me to get even more work done. During the time I was off-line, I was also able to get some things done which has made my work even better. At the time, all this was really problematic, but now I can look back and see that it was actually a huge blessing. Thanks be to God!
