Important Information
Free ads under our
standard free ad offer may appear in the MCS Directory under the
following categories: Catholic Churches, Catholic Organizations,
Catholic Product Retailers, Catholic Services, and Catholic Vocations.
To be eligible for a
free ad under our standard free ad offer, at least 95% of business (both
$ and sales volume) must be derived from the indicated category. [Note:
Catholic Churches & Catholic Vocations should derive 100% of their
revenue from performing Church & Vocational activities.]
Organizations / businesses / individuals / churches / etc. in full communion with the Holy See only.
Free ads under our
standard free ad offer may be limited in terms of features /
requirements / eligibility / availability / etc. Also, free ads may
require advertisers to complete additional steps / provide additional
information / etc. They are not renewable and advertisers may not
request deletion of free ads. Note that an optional second (red)
headline and other ad enhancements are not available on free listings.
Free ads may have a longer processing time / may have a limited
submission period / may be designated as "free" /
may be given lower priority than paid ads / free ads may require
information about funding sources / etc.
To request a free ad, the advertiser must complete
a free ad request
form, providing all required data, on the assigned day (see table below). As applicable, the advertiser may
receive an e-mail within 90 days containing a submission number and a link to a
content submission form on our site that must be completed at a
specified time (your "appointment time") in order
to complete the ad request (remember that our e-mail will not ask for personal
information). Note that we require that
all steps be completed properly, in a timely fashion, and according to
our instructions in order for us to proceed with your request. Incomplete / inappropriate requests may be subject to auto-rejection
(and those who submit them may be banned from future advertising on this

form.]
Free ads under the standard free ad offer may ONLY
be
requested on the appropriate day. Those not submitted on the appropriate
day may be subject to auto-rejection (and those who submit
them may be banned from future advertising on this site). The following

Note the following
important information regarding our standard free ad offer:

Do not submit more than one free ad request per eligible organization /
individual per year. Excess requests may be subject to auto rejection
and those who submit them may be banned from future advertising on this
site.

Free ads limited to those in the U.S. only.
*
Free ad requests are for specifically Catholic ads (and
not those which are generically 'Christian'). Free ads have to do with
Catholic products and Catholic services - not to any product or service
simply because it is provided by a Catholic. For example, a Catholic
provider of books would not qualify for a free ad, whereas a Catholic
provider of Catholic books may qualify for a free ad.

If you do not receive an e-mail from us within 90 days of requesting a
free ad, your ad may not appear on the site. This may occur for a variety
of reasons. Do not submit another request for a free ad for another 9
months. If you are certain you qualify for a free ad and that your ad is
appropriate for this site, you may try again on the correct day in 9 months.
If you again do not hear back from us, do not submit any more free ad
requests.

Please do not request a free ad if you have a paid listing already
appearing.

One free ad per qualifying individual / organization. If you have
already requested a free ad and request another free ad when not allowed
(e.g. within less than a year from your previous request), your request may be subject to auto
rejection. We may also delete any other ad(s) of yours, or ban you from
future advertising on this site. Be sure to follow all guidelines

If you are not entitled to a free ad, but lie (or misrepresent facts) in
order to receive a free ad, you agree to pay us a fine of not less than
five (5) times the price of the applicable ad(s) (and never less than
$250), whether your ad(s) ever appear on the site or not. Also, note
that those who lie or misrepresent facts to receive a free ad(s) may be
banned from future advertising on this site.

All applicable terms apply to free ads (free ads are subject to all applicable
terms concerning paid ads - the amount saved may simply be regarded as a
'discount coupon').

Some categories may be "closed" to free
ads (even if they normally accept them).

We may discontinue / limit / change / etc. the standard free ad offer at
any time without notice.
