Important: Before requesting that a link be removed...

Please do not request that a link be removed unless you are completely certain that the overall site fails to meet our general criteria.
Please do not request the removal of a link unless the overall content is problematic (as opposed to a few problematic items).
Please do not request the removal of a link unless the content is consistently problematic over a long period of time (as opposed to occasionally problematic content).
Please do not request removal of a link simply because you dislike or disagree with certain information/opinions given on the site.
If you are reporting technical difficulties with a web link, do NOT submit the e-mail described below - instead click here to report technical difficulties.
Note that we cannot guarantee the classification, Catholicity, or content of any site, individual, organization, etc.

Remember that no site - not even the best of them - is perfect.

We make no guarantee whatsoever regarding any link, site, content, individual, organization, etc.
Limit one removal request per link. Multiple requests may cause the request to be automatically denied. If you know the removal request has been submitted previously, do not submit another request. Repeat requests may be automatically denied, regardless of the reason.

We base our decisions whether or not to remove a link on our internal criteria and subjective decisions. We are further limited by available resources. If you request that a link be removed from the Catholic Web Links section and it continues to appear, please do not be offended or consider it to be a judgment against you. In fact, you should presume that most removal requests may not be approved due to a variety of reasons, including those indicated above.
Allow a generous amount of time for the removal of link in the Catholic Web Links section.
Be sure to follow all instructions below to submit your request. If any information is missing, we may not consider your request.

How to Submit a Removal Request

To request that we remove a link from the Catholic Web Links Section:

Important: Carefully review all above information prior to your submission.
To request that a link be removed: send an e-mail as described below to requestcatholicweblinkremoval*mycatholicsource.com [replace "*" with "@"]. Put "request web link removal: (www.websitename.com)" in the subject line of your e-mail [replace "(www.websitename.com)" with the web link you want us to remove]. In the body of the message, specify the following: (1) web link you want us to remove, (2) our identifying information for link [so that we may identify the link you are reporting, you must provide the numbers and other information found at the end of the applicable listing - for example: "017948000Y2/13/07". Note that this information may be found in the bottom right hand corner of each listing in the Catholic Web Links Section. It may appear in a light gray text. You MUST provide the actual identifying information for the link you are reporting], (3) in ten words or less, indicate specifically which criteria of ours you believe it does not meet [e.g. it is a news site, site is not Catholic, content is unorthodox, schismatic / sedevacantist site, violates general criteria, etc.], (4) briefly and honestly state the main reason you think the link should be removed, (5) how long the problem has occurred, (6) approximate percentage of problematic content, (7) your full name, (8) and a statement certifying that all information provided is accurate and true. Be sure to clearly number the above (1-8) in your e-mail. Do not omit any of this information. If you do not follow these instructions, your request may be automatically denied.
Do NOT send attachments, graphics, etc. with your e-mail message.
Submit only the information that is requested above. Do not editorialize.
Please keep your e-mail short and to the point.
Do not include any defamatory statements.
Do not include more than one web address per e-mail.
Do not exaggerate.
Be that sure the web address you submit to us - as well as all other information - is correct and complete.
Reminder: If you are reporting technical difficulties with a web link, do NOT submit the e-mail described above - instead click here to report technical difficulties.
Send your e-mail message only to the address specified above. Do not submit your request to another e-mail address or it may be subject to automatic rejection.
The above indicated e-mail address is only for requests to remove links from the Catholic Web Links section. Do not submit any other correspondence whatsoever to this e-mail address. Any other correspondence is subject to automatic rejection.

Note that we cannot respond individually regarding our decision whether or not to remove a link or give reasons for either accepting or rejecting a request. We also cannot comment on the status of our decision regarding whether or not to remove a link. Sorry, but we cannot promise to consider all requests that we receive. Please do NOT send inquiries or follow-ups regarding your submission.
