only & may not be comprehensive. We make no guarantee regarding any

from using this site. By using this site you agree to all terms.
For more terms information,
regret that we are unable to personally answer questions about our site
or about the Catholic faith. Should you have a question(s) about the
Catholic faith, you may wish to consider the Catholic Web Links section
find links to various sites dedicated to the defense of the Catholic
faith (or sites which have more comprehensive apologetics than we have).
Since this site is dedicated particularly to Catholics, the
information in the Non-Catholics Section is necessarily limited. In any
case, be assured that the Catholic Church does have answers to
your questions. We wish you God's blessings in your search for truth.
again, we regret that we are unable to personally respond to (or
consider all) comments received. If you have a complaint or criticism,
please assume our good intentions and leave it at that. If you are
offended by what we have presented (or by our use of " ' "
marks around terms such as Christian and church), please consider that
our intention is not to offend, but to be truthful and to help [note
that we feel that the use of such terms without qualification would be
wrong (and confusing to our Catholic visitors)*].
Again, please assume our good intentions and leave it at that. Remember
that arguments of non-Catholics will not dissuade knowledgeable Catholics from their faith. So, let's please not waste each
you have a compliment or suggestion, we must regretfully ask that you
please withhold it as we simply do not have the time to consider all
correspondence that we receive. We do not wish to appear harsh, but we
prefer to dedicate resources to the continued operation of this site. Of
course, we are always grateful for prayers made on our behalf to the
any event, please know that we do not ever wish to assume
"bad faith" of the part any non-Catholic or to judge
them. Rather, we feel it is best to assume good faith on the part of all
persons and leave judgment to God alone.
we ask you to consider the words of Pope Leo XIII: "[T]hose
who sincerely seek after truth will preserve equanimity, modesty,
and courtesy in matters of dispute. They will not let differences
of opinion deteriorate into conflicts of wills." (Pope Leo
XIII, "Graves De
Communi Re", 1901 A.D.)
God Bless You Always!
Note: At best, those outside the Catholic Church have a 'partial Christianity'
- and this explains why we put quotation marks around the term
'Christian'. As a comparison, should one take a loaf of bread and remove
pockets of it and fill some of them with clay, and then attach slivers of wood to the
outside, would anyone still refer to the concoction as 'bread' without any
qualification? Making such a qualification has nothing to do with not
being charitable, but is rather an attempt to better correspond to truth.
As Athanasius has said, "The very tradition, teaching, and faith of
the Catholic Church from the beginning, which the Lord gave, was
preached by the apostles and was preserved by the Fathers. On this was
the Church founded, and if anyone departs from this, he neither is, nor
any longer ought to be called, a Christian." (St. Athanasius,
Doctor of the Church)
