GEN 30:17 - and God heard her prayer; she conceived and bore a fifth son to Jacob.
GEN 30:22 - Then God remembered Rachel; he heard her prayer and made her fruitful.
NUM 11:2 - But when the people cried out to Moses, he prayed to the LORD and the fire died out.
DEUT 9:18-19 "Then, as before, I lay prostrate before the LORD for forty days and forty nights without eating or drinking, because of all the sin you had committed in the sight of the LORD and the evil you had done to provoke him. For I dreaded the fierce anger of the LORD against you: his wrath would destroy you. Yet once again the LORD listened to me."
1SAM 1:27 - I prayed for this child, and the LORD granted my request.

LK 1:13-17 - But the angel said to him, "Do not be afraid, Zechariah, because your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall name him John. And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth, for he will be great in the sight of (the) Lord...He will be filled with the Holy Spirit even from his mother's womb, and he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God. ACTS 9:40 - Peter sent them all out and knelt down and prayed. Then he turned to her body and said, "Tabitha, rise up." She opened her eyes, saw Peter, and sat up.
ACTS 10:31 - "Cornelius, your prayer has been heard and your almsgiving remembered before God..."
HEB 5:7 - In the days when he was in the flesh, he offered prayers and supplications with loud cries and tears to the one who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence.
JMS 5:17 - Elijah was a human being like us; yet he prayed earnestly that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain upon the land.
