Vatican II is a distraction

I agree that Vatican II been a huge distraction and a deterrent in the most important job of the Church, the salvation of souls. |Countless time & money has been wasted over the past several decades trying to implement the novelties of this Council, yet Catholics today are less educated and souls are worse off. |I believe Vatican II has been a disaster that will have eternal consequences for many souls.

Promoting Catholic Tradition

Memorize the name - Msgr. Bux

Then memorize this quote - refusal of the "Tridentine" Mass may be considered "a rupture of communion with the Pope" says Msgr. Nicola Bux who is a consultant to the Pope! |Something to add to your letterhead or signature line?|

We need to market

Although it may put us out of our "comfort zones", it behooves us and our fellow Catholics to market the Traditional Mass. How many thousands of Catholics still know nothing or almost nothing about this priceless treasure? |Let's all tell others about this Mass and be 'armed' (for lack of a better word) with facts and answers to their questions.|The more there are of us, the harder it will be for unfriendly bishops to keep this Mass from us!

Latin Mass: Why Attend?

Why is it?

Why is it that NO singers think the Holy SACRIFICE of the Mass is a place to show off their "talents"?

NOT the same rite

Surely the old and new are not the same rite - why else would those involved in creating the new rite speak of overthrowing the old, destruction of the old, etc. if they were both the same rite?

Latin Mass: Other

They are not the same rite

I agree, the trad mass and the new are not the same rite under different "forms". It is a good question what would it take make them different. |I think there are fewer differences between the trad Dominican liturgy and the TLM than between the trad mass and the new, yet the Dominican liturgy is a different rite. |As I see it, it's wishful thinking that the trad mass and the new are two forms of the same rite. If not in fact, than at least, typically, in practice.

Latin Mass: Customs & Practices

At the elevation of the chalice containing the Most Precious Blood

Catholics should be reminded to continue the tradition of interior prayer at Mass at the elevation of the chalice containing the Most Precious Blood. |It is customary to say: Be mindful, O Lord, of Thy creature, whom Thou hast redeemed by Thy Precious Blood. |This prayer aligns well with the Good Thief's petition: Lord, remember me when thou shalt come into thy kingdom. As we all know, the Good Thief was rewarded with eternal life.

The Wisdom of Catholic Tradition

exasperating discussions with liberals.

I find it exasperating to have discussions with liberals. All they seem to care about is how they feel; what they like or don't like. They seem to care nothing about truth, just their feelings.
